11.6.1 Relics

Relics are powerful items that are placed in shrines to protect the relic and grant powerful abilities to the shrines they rest within. Relics can be found by killing powerful or boss creatures in the realms. Some relics can be found on multiple creatures, some can only be found on a single specific one. Relics drops are also rare, and most of the time, they will not always drop. It may take several attempts to get the relic you are searching for.

Shrines can hold up to 3 relics each. All relics come with differing powers. You can choose to power your shrine with 3 relics with different powers or you can use relics that all have the same power, in order to give a more powerful effect. You cannot put two identical items into a shrine. For example, you cannot put two scepters into a single shrine, even if they have different powers.

In summary:
- A shrine can only hold 1 of each relic type. So it could hold the scepter and the crown, but not a crown and a crown.
- The more variants in the same shrine with the same power, the more powerful the effects.
- A shrine can have 1 very powerful power, 3 different powers, or a level 2 and level 1 power.

RELIC INSERT <relic>
This will place a relic you are currently holding into a shrine that belongs to your cult or sect. Once you put a relic into a shrine you cannot take it back out.

RELIC ACTIVATE <relic> <options>
Use the power of the relic that is in an active shrine. List of powers below.

RELIC LOOK
Look at what relics are in a shrine.

RELIC DESTROY <relic> <#>
Destroys a specific relic currently in a shrine. The number is only necessary if there is more than one relic of a given type in the shrine.

PUT <relic> IN ALTAR
Puts the relic in the altar to gain points for your sect or cult leaders to convert to better relics. The point value of a relic depends on 1) the type of relic power it has and 2) the type or relic it is. Certain relic power/types are more common than others. But just because relic shoes are rare for one type of relic, doesn't mean they're rare for all of them.

PERFORM RITUAL TRANSMOGRIFICATION <relic> <type>] low] cost]
Transmogrifies the combined relics put into an altar into another relic. May only be done by cult and sect leaders and those with the "relics" privilege. You can use "any" for the relic or "any low" to see low cost, random alternatives to specifying a specific relic. Use "cost" at the end to see how much a transaction would cost and how many points exist in the altar.

Name     : Absorption
Cooldown : Always active.
Range    : 0, 1, 3 rooms from shrine.
Effect   : Herb balances are reduced for cult members by 0.5 seconds in room. 

Name     : Acute
Cooldown : Always active.
Range    : 0, 1, 3 rooms from shrine.
Effect   : Ticks every 10 seconds. You will get a random, single affliction back that you had on the last tick. 

Name     : Aegis
Cooldown : Always active.
Effect   : Reduces the damage done when defiling this specific shrine by 50%, 75%, and 90%.

Name     : Augment
Cooldown : Always active.
Effect   : Every non-circle member past the total of your circle numbers in the room, circle members have their damage increased by 3, 5, or 10%. 

Name     : Banish
Cooldown : 10 hours, 7 hours, 3 hours.
Effect   : Ejects any who is not a member of the sect from the area.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE BANISH

Name     : Beast
Cooldown : 1 day, 12 hours, 6 hours.
Effect   : Spawns hostile monsters into the room. Be careful!
Duration : Last 60 minutes.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE BEAST

Name     : Bulwark
Cooldown : 12 hours, 6 hours, 3 hours. (Per organization, not per shrine)
Effect   : All shrines belonging to this cult cannot be defiled unless first sanctified. If sanctified, the shrine may be defiled during the normal defilement window which is 15 minutes.
Duration : 60 minutes.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE BULWARK

Name     : Citadel 
Cooldown : Always active.
Effect   : Reduces the damage done when defiling the sect or cult altar by 50%, 75%, and 90%.

Name     : Consumption
Cooldown : Always active.
Range    : 0, 1, 3 rooms from shrine.
Effect   : Everyone in the room slowly becomes intoxicated. 

Name     : Creed
Cooldown : 1 hour
Effect   : A 10%, 20%, or 30% bonus sect-wide to belief gained from sacrificing for the next 5 minutes. Does not stack.

Name     : Defiance
Cooldown : Always active.
Range    : 0, 1, 3 rooms from the shrine.
Effect   : No damage resistances work in the room. 

Name     : Detection
Cooldown : 10 min, 5 min, 1 min.
Effect   : Fullsense ability that bypasses phase. Identifies people within three rooms of all shrines.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE DETECTION

Name     : Equity
Cooldown : 30 min, 20 min, 10 min.
Effect   : Everyone in the web has the same max health and mana of the caster. 
Duration : Lasts 60 seconds.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE EQUITY

Name     : Feedback
Cooldown : 30 min, 20 min, 10 min.
Effect   : All damage done to caster is reflected back in full to their attacker. 
Duration : Lasts for 10 seconds.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE FEEDBACK

Name     : Fury
Cooldown : Always active.
Range    : 0, 1, or 3 rooms from shrine.
Effect   : For every 3000/2000/1000 damage dealt in room, hit everyone in the room with 500.

Name     : Hellfire
Cooldown : Always active
Range    : 0, 1, 3 rooms from shrine
Effect   : Catches non-sect in the room on fire every 15 seconds. 

Name     : Impedance
Cooldown : 180 min, 120 min, 80 min
Effect   : Mob damage done to sect members is reduced by 10% in the area for 1 hour. Does not stack.

Name     : Lethargic
Cooldown : Always active.
Range    : 0, 1, or 3 rooms from the shrine.
Effect   : All balance attacks are 20% longer. 

Name     : Lockdown
Cooldown : 60 minutes, 30 minutes, 10 minutes.
Effect   : No one in the web can move. This includes all teleportation skills.
Duration : 60 seconds.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE LOCKDOWN

Name     : Mayhem
Cooldown : Always active.
Range    : 0, 1, or 3 rooms from shrine.
Effect   : Any afflictions delivered in the room are given to everyone in the room. 

Name     : Mending
Cooldown : 30 min, 20 min, 10 min .
Effect   : Cures all of the afflictions of all people in the web.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE MENDING

Name     : Nullification
Cooldown : 30 min, 20 min, 10 min.
Range    : 0, 1, or 3 rooms from shrine.
Effect   : No artifact powers will work in the room. 
Duration : Lasts 60 seconds.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE NULLIFICATION

Name     : Obtuse
Cooldown : Always active.
Range    : 0 or 1 rooms from shrine.
Effect   : Blunt weapon damage relapsed in 2 seconds later for 30% (60% for level 3) to everyone in the room. 

Name     : Perspicacity
Cooldown : 2 hours
Effect   : A 5%, 10%, or 25% bonus to bashing XP gain in the area for sect members for one hour. Multiple active relics further increase XP gain. There is an upper limit on how much any given character can earn through perspicacity per ingame year.

Name     : Rebirth
Cooldown : 60 minutes, 30 minutes, 10 minutes.
Range    : 0, 1, or 3 rooms from the shrine.
Effect   : No one can die.
Duration : 60 seconds.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE REBIRTH

Name     : Reciprocation
Cooldown : Always active.
Range    : 0, 1, or 3 rooms from the shrine.
Effect   : Each affliction cured in any room, is cured for everyone in the room. 

Name     : Rejuvenation
Cooldown : 30 min, 20 min, 10 min.
Effect   : Refreshes the health and mana of everyone in the web that is a member of the cult or sect.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE REJUVENATION

Name     : Ritual
Cooldown : 1 day, 12 hours, 6 hours.
Effect   : Cult or sect members can do a ritual on the shrine as though it is an altar. 
Duration : Lasts 60 minutes.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE RITUAL

Name     : Shrinking
Cooldown : 60 minutes, 30 minutes, 10 minutes.
Effect   : Only a 2 people can be in the room at a time. One is from the cult or sect. If someone else enters the room it pushes the other person out. 
Duration : 10 minutes.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE SHRINKING

Name     : Summer
Cooldown : Always active.
Effect   : The fire and physical resistance is raised by 5/10/15% in this room for cult/sect members. Stacks.

Name     : Torture
Cooldown : 10 min, 5 min, 1 min
Effect   : This will deal straight damage to people in the web who are not members or the cult or sect. 
Duration : Fires every 6 seconds for 60 seconds.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE TORTURE

Name     : Trequartista
Cooldown : 30 min, 20 min, 10 min
Effect   : Channeled ability, the wielder decreases equilibrium costs of circle members in the web by 20%. Lasts up to 5 minutes.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE TREQUARTISTA

Name     : Unburst
Cooldown : 30 min, 20 min, 10 min.
Effect   : Ignores starburst, redemption, etc within the web.
Duration : 5 minutes.
Command  : RELIC ACTIVATE UNBURST

Name     : Wayfaring
Cooldown : 30 min, 20 min, 10 min.
Effect   : Teleport to and from altar and shrine with the relic.
Command  : WAYFARING or WAYFARING <shrine>

Name     : Winter
Cooldown : Always active.
Effect   : The cold and magick resistance is raised by 5/10/15% in this room for cult/sect members. Stacks.
 
Name     : Wraith
Cooldown : Always active.
Range    : 0, 1, or 3 rooms from shrine.
Effect   : For every 20 afflictions dealt in the room, hit everyone in the room with 1/5/10 random ones.

A "web" is three rooms from the shrine with an additional three rooms from every level three or greater shrine in the web.
