11.4.1 Dead Gods

The Gods of Imperian are dead. Mortals walk this world alone.

o Avasyu, Lord of Creation
     Avasyu, He who was once known as the Creator, was obliterated on the 21st day 
     of Letum in the year 678 AD, His essence scattered across the cosmos. His 
     slayers were the terrible Demon Gods, led by Azaoz, their Lord. EVENTS #190 
     details His death.

o Aesir, God of War
     The Demon Lord Azaoz bit the top half of the former God of War's head off in 
     the final battle of the Gods, on the 8th day of Bellum in the year 678 AD. 
     Adventurers looking to learn more about His death should read EVENTS #202.

o Anathema, the Griever
     On the 12th of Naturalis, in the year 678 AD, Anathema, the Griever, joined 
     Eloweth in entering the Nexus, eradicating Them both, but also tricking the 
     cunning Demon Lady Nytid into Her demise as well. EVENTS #198 details Her 
     death.

o Asaka, the Wild One
     On the 7th of Artificium in the year 678 AD, the Wild One battled ferociously 
     against the Demon Gods Erzabet and Aosoth in defense of the Celidon forests. 
     Choosing to redirect Her amassed power intended for the demons to save Her 
     children, Asaka fell to the scythe of Azaoz, the Lord of Demons. EVENTS #197 
     and #201 details Her death.

o Baar, Lord of the Six Suns
     Baar was once the Lord of the Suns, and had assumed the role of the Creator 
     after His Father's demise at the hands of Azaoz. He was also slain by the 
     same Demon God after being abandoned by His kin on the 17th day of Ferinus, 
     in the year 678 AD. EVENTS #195 details His death.

o Calix, the Vagrant Lord
     On the 7th of Artificium, in the year 678 AD, Calix succeeded in poisoning 
     the Demon Goddess Erzabet, lessening the Demon Lord's force. He was then 
     dispatched by the Demon Lord Azaoz and consumed by His familiar, Corpse Eater

o Cassiopeia, Goddess of the Stars
     On the 8th day of Bellum, in the year 678 AD, Cassiopeia was severed in half 
     by the thrown scythe of the Demon Lord, Azaoz. EVENTS #191, #197, #201, and 
     #202 details Her last battles and death.

o Danaglas, the Essence of Consciousness
     Danaglas was split open and destroyed by the Demon Lord Aosoth on the 14th 
     day of Tenebrae, in the year 678 AD. EVENTS #191 details His death.

o Dranor, God of Imagination
     After having His arm severed by the Demon Lord Azaoz, Dranor was incinerated 
     and completely destroyed on the 8th of Bellum, in the year 678 AD. EVENTS 
     #202 details His death.

o Eloweth, Lady of the Arcane
     On the 12th of Naturalis, in the year 678 AD, Eloweth entered the Nexus, 
     eradicating Herself from existence. Her loss came at great cost to Her 
     rivals, however, as She brought Anathema and Nytid with Her. EVENTS #198 
     details Her death.

o Epiphany, Goddess of Life
     Epiphany passed from this world on the 8th of Bellum, in the year 678 AD, but 
     took the Demon Lord Aosoth with Her. EVENTS #197, #201, and #202 detail Her 
     battles and death.

o Illuminas, the God of Light
     In the early morning of the 8th day of Solis in the year 678 AD, Illuminas 
     met His end at the hands of the Demon Lord Azaoz and Azaoz's general Ipstal. 
     Saved temporarily by Shallah, Illuminas's final act was to erupt in a blast 
     of light, eradicating Ipstal and temporarily driving the Lord of Demons 
     Himself away. EVENTS #195 and #199 detail His last battles and death.

o Janus, God of the Seasons
     On the 15th of Fas, in the year 678 AD, Janus was destroyed by the combined 
     puissance of three of the mighty Demon Lords: Aosoth, Nytid, and Their master 
     Azaoz. EVENTS #191 and #193 details His last battle and death.

o Lianthe, Lady of the Waters
     On the 8th day of Bellum, in the year 678 AD, Lianthe was ripped to pieces by 
     the Demon Goddess Visyra. EVENTS #202 details Her death.

o Malkav, God of Insanity
     Malkav was slain by the combined forces of the Demon Lords Slen and Visyra, 
     on the 13th day of Vita, in the year 678 AD. EVENTS #191 details His death.

o Nemesis, Goddess of Wrath
     Nemesis crushed the head of the Demon Goddess Visyra on the 8th day of 
     Bellum, in the year 678 AD, but the resulting explosion destroyed Her as 
     well. EVENTS #202 details Her death.

o Shallah, Goddess of Peace
     In the morning of the 8th day of Solis, in the year 678 AD, Shallah met Her 
     end. She was carved up by the Demon Lord Azaoz as She attempted to block the 
     blow aimed at the God of Light. Although unable to save Illuminas, Her 
     sacrifice made His final attack successful in destroying Ipstal, one of 
     Azaoz's mighty generals. EVENTS #199 details Her death.

o Thanatos, God of Death
     The last surviving God of the final battle of the Gods on the 8th of Bellum, 
     in the year 678 AD, Thanatos passed through the rift in the frozen north to 
     eradicate the Demon Lord Azaoz. EVENTS #202 details His death. He briefly 
     returned to Aetherius in 315 AM to restore the Eternal Empire of Stavenn, 
     devour the essence of Scourge King Urzog, and then pass from existence... 
     once and for all?

o Vahin, the Protector
     On the 7th of Artificium, in the year 678 AD, Vahin pushed Himself beyond 
     Godly limits to save His allies from Demon Lord Azaoz and Aosoth, of the 
     Thirst, and died defending Them. EVENTS #195, #197, and #201 detail His 
     last battles and death.

o Zanik, God of Civilization
     Zanik, God of Civilization, was ripped asunder by the cruel nails of the 
     Demon Lord Visyra, on the 13th day of Vita, in the year 678 AD. EVENTS #191 
     details His death.
