24.3.10 Artifact powers

The powers that provide many artifacts with their special abilities may now be bought, extracted and merged into other artifacts. In addition, crafting items from tailoring and jewelry may be converted from regular, decaying items into permanent artifacts to which powers may be added. The commands below work with the artifact power system:

ARTIFACT POWER LIST [max] [min] [search]
Lists all the powers currently available along with their prices. The min and max may are option and may be reversed. If included they will search both the total artifact price and the price for you to upgrade an artifact to that power. Search searches the artifact power id and the artifact power name.

ARTIFACT POWER <id> SHOW
Shows information about the artifact power, including what artifact comes with that power.

ARTIFACT POWER BUY <id> [CONFIRM]
Purchases an orb of refined diachaim with the power specified. Do not use to purchase upgrades for existing items, this is only for new powers.

ARTIFACT POWER UPGRADE <artifact> WITH <id> [CONFIRM]
Purchases and applies an orb of refined diachaim to upgrade the specified artifact.

ARTIFACT POWER SELL <id> [CONFIRM]
Trades in an orb of refined diachaim with a power for credits.

ARTIFACT POWER EXTRACT <id> FROM <artifact> [CONFIRM]
Extracts a power from an existing artifact so that it may be sold or applied to another artifact. Costs 5 bound credits.

ARTIFACT POWER PROBE <artifact>
Displays the id's of any powers that have been added to an artifact or that are inherently part of an artifact.

ARTIFACT POWER PRICE <item>
For artifacts displays the current trade-in value. For items displays how much it would cost to turn it into an artifact.

ARTIFACT POWER MAKE ARTIFACT <item> [TOKEN] [CONFIRM]
Turns a regular crafted jewelry or clothing item into an artifact. Some restrictions apply. Average cost is 25 credits. You may instead pay one Token of the Creator using the optional TOKEN argument.
Artifacts created this way behave as other artifacts - they do not decay, and will return to you after some time if left. Being artifacts, they can also receive powers!

SHATTER <orb> OVER <artifact>
Shatters an orb of refined diachaim onto an artifact adding the power of the orb to the artifact.

In addition, there is a skill in perception that allows you to view the artifact powers that another player has on them. Learn more with AB PERCEPTION ARTIFACTLIST.

Keep in mind that wearable artifact powers require wearable items to attach to!
