Game Help

Imperian has hundreds of help files to help you learn more about the game and how to play.

5.1.2 Gaining Lessons

Lessons are the currency of learning in Imperian. In order to raise your
skills, you must spend lessons learning them.

You can use LESSONS to see how many lessons you've spent in your skills.
Gaining lessons can be done in one of six basic ways:

1) Reaching a new experience level. Every time you gain a level under
100, you will gain some lessons. Conversely, however, if you lose
that level, you will lose those lessons. Simply gain the level back
   to get the lessons back.

2) Purchase the 'No-Brainer Lesson' Package from the website. This only
costs 10 dollars and each character is only allowed to purchase two.
However, when combined with the lessons earned from gaining levels,
you should easily have enough to learn all your profession skills to the
maximum level. You can do this at: http://www.Imperian.com/credits.
   (See HELP NO-BRAINER LESSONS)

3) Purchasing credits, binding them, and then converting them to
   lessons. See HELP CREDITS.

Syntax: CREDITS CONVERT <number> TO LESSONS

This will convert X number of credits into X * 6 lessons. You are
limited to converting 2000 credits/real day.

4) Earning daily bound credits, and then converting them to lessons.
   See HELP DAILYCREDITS.

5) Being awarded lessons for various things by the Gods. For instance,
winning certain competitions might bring lessons, or writing an area
that is judged worthy, etc. This covers a broad range of
   possibilities.

6) You also receive 2.5 Bonus Lessons when binding your first 1000
credits to your character. This allows for you to earn up to 2500
   additional lessons.
