5.3.5 Trade Skill - Jewelry

The jeweler's art is that of transforming regular gold, silver, and gems into
magnificent vestments fit for a king, elegant pieces for dressing up or
proposing marriage, or simple tokens for expressing friendship and kindness or
affection.

To become a professional jeweler, you must be trained by the craft guild of a
major city. Go to the jewelry guild office and BUY JEWELRY PERMIT. The craft
guild assesses a fee of 100 credits for the permit, which does not expire. Once
a licensed jeweler, you will have basic ability in the Jewelry miniskill. The
more you train in this skill, the higher quality your products will be, in
durability and prestige. Eventually, you may even be able to repair items or
add intricate engravings to them.
