24.27 Gems

Multi-faceted gems can be traded between players (HELP PROMO MARKET) and are used to create and level three unique items in the world of Imperian, but the items are bound to a player and cannot change owners.

1. Scepter
2. Goggles
3. Amulet

The more gems added to an item the more powerful and useful it will become.

SCEPTER
--------
If you are in possession of a suitable gem, you can do SCEPTER CREATE to create a level 1 scepter. This can only be done once - you cannot have more than one scepter.

Once you have a scepter, you can use more multi-faceted gems to upgrade the scepter - simply ADD <gem> TO SCEPTER. Each gem increases the scepter's level by 1, up to a maximum of 20.

All scepters do a base damage that is determined by their level. A level 20 scepter is going to do more damage then a level 1. For the most part, a level 1 scepter will do more damage then your basic bashing skills.

Scepters are a hunting tool - all their effects focus around doing damage, or other special effects, to mobs. Scepters cannot be used to attack other players at all.

To get information about your scepter use the command SCEPTER INFO, or WEAPONPROBE SCEPTER. To get detailed information about the scepter's abilities, do AB SCEPTER (or AB SCEPTER <ability>).

GOGGLES
-------
If you are in possession of a suitable gem, you can do GOGGLES CREATE to create a level 1 pair of goggles. This can only be done once - you cannot have more than one pair of goggles.

Once you have a pair of goggles, you can use more multi-faceted gems to upgrade the goggles - simply ADD <gem> TO GOGGLES. Each gem increases the goggle's level by 1, up to a maximum of 20.

You can use the command GOGGLES RESHAPE to transform the appearance of your goggles. You can do this from level 1, and the descriptions get progressively better as you level your goggles.

You can use the command GOGGLES INFO to get some basic information about your goggles. To get detailed information about the goggle's abilities, do AB GOGGLES (or AB GOGGLES <ability>).

AMULET
------
If you are in possession of a suitable gem, you can do AMULET CREATE to create a level 1 amulet. This can only be done once - you cannot have more than one amulet.

Once you have an amulet, you can use more multi-faceted gems to upgrade the amulet - simply ADD <gem> TO AMULET. Each gem increases the amulet's level by 1, up to a maximum of 20.

Every amulet can hold 100 'charge' points. An amulet is charged when you are attacked by a mobile, and the charge will dissipate if you are not being attacked. Player loyal entities and guards do not generate charge. The more damage you take the quicker you will generate charge.

The amulet will passively activate once it has sufficient charge and will then has a 40 second cooldown. Each further gem added to a amulet reduces this cooldown by 1 second. The effects of the amulet are completely random, however you can attempt to attune an amulet to a specific action once it reaches level 6. At level 18 you can attempt to activate two effects per flare.

You can get basic information about your amulet with the command AMULET INFO. You can get just charge information with AMULET CHARGE. To get detailed information about the amulet's abilities, do AB AMULET (or AB AMULET <ability>).
