9.4.20 The Summoner Profession

"Commanding the power of the Demon Lords, Summoners overpower lesser individuals with archaic, demonic powers."

Basic Information
-----------------
Armour: Scale, Leather limb armor.

Main Stats:
   Intelligence - Primary damage stat.
   Constitution - More health never hurts.

Recommended Statpacks:
   Clever - Useful for Tarot based offenses.
   Wise - Useful for Noctu based offenses.
   Intelligent - Higher base intelligence at the cost of a bal or eq bonus.

Main Balances:
   Balance or Equilibrium - The summoner can use both balance or equilibrium based offenses. Hunting denizens is done exclusively with equilibrium attacks.

Skillsets
---------
- Noctu: The knowledge of alteration of someone's very soul via nearly surgical manipulation of a subject's aura. Noctu is your primary offensive and defensive skillset.

- Tarot: The ability to etch an image onto a card and then FLING it at a target. Tarot is your support skillset. Among many others, Tarot allows the caster to heal and destroy.

- Enslavery: The ability to form pacts with Demon Lords and draw on their power. Demon Lords can provide different effects, from loyal servants to enhancing your body.

Combat Focus
------------
Summoners have two distinct options to confront their opponents: Pure damage or overloading with afflictions to drive them mad with knowledge. Using damage from Noctu and unleashing the power of the Demon Lords, you can quickly overwhelm many through damage. However, the clever application of Tarot supported by Noctu will allow you to build up afflictions quickly. Once you have applied whispering madness and at least four mental afflictions, you can enlighten your opponent to Demonic knowledge, breaking their mind and killing them.
