Aesir and Stavenn.

Excellent attempt at listing Aesir's accomplishments for Stavenn, but
those are all things that could have been done without him. Rats? Gates?
Every city has such things. Closing sewer grates is not unusual, Antioch
did it without divine assistance. Aesir just wanted to look good. And it
was only a matter of time before the tunnel that allowed the ridiculous
action of entering Stavenn via prism tattoo from the Eastern Nolmines,
equadistance from Kinsarmar itself, was removed. None of those things
even required a patron to be done. With them out of the way, why don't
we go a bit deeper into Aesir's track record as a patron.

When Baar attacked Stavenn, Aesir did nothing. He regularly if not
gleefully reminded all of his followers that he never cared at all for
Stavenn or the Diavlous, that is why we did not care for your kind. You
have left without ever engaging us in a single discussion about the
matter and this just reinforces my opinion that we will be better off
without you.

When Kinsarmar was brutalizing Stavenn at the beginning of the war,
Aesir never threatened to attack them. But when the tables turned,
suddenly this was not acceptable to Aesir. We have only been doing to
our enemies what they have done to us. Is the real reason for your
whinning the fact that the enemy had the idea to target your shrines, or
is war only acceptable when it is physical damages and not lives that
are being lost? In the case of Kinsarmar vs. Stavenn, Kinsarmar has so
many advantages that they would almost always have the upper hand in
such a conflict. Perhaps then your kind should finish the move to
Kinsarmar, though I'm sure they will only use you as a weapon against us
and cast you aside when you're out of energy. As obviously you have no
staying power.

True, we were told once to find the path of war. For the reasons I've
just stated we aren't sure what the path of war is, but since it
obviously does not involve us winning, we see no reason to search for it
while you stand around trying to act superior and mysterious.

Then there was the Mukruk incident. According to Astridyna and
Meliafice, you actually attempted to attack the city with what this
insane ogre could channel. All because we were winning, or because your
shrines were losing. In either case it is obviously not a fair
interaction.

Lastly, the Diavlous in general. Lord Malkav put forth phenomenal effort
to improve the abilities of the Malignists guild, while Aesir said he
didn't care and has left the Diavlous guild with the weakest skill
combinations in the land. The sole improvement he made to them was to
help us seal some missing brutality skills, all of which I invented.
Once again, something that could have been done by any patron (only much
better?), or maybe even without one at all.

If Aesir wants to actually do something for the first time in mortal
memory, then by all means, remove Magnin, reopen the sewer grates,
remove the gate. There will deffinitely be another Malignist willing to
pay to experiment on the mutants, mortals can alter such small aspects
of terrain by themselves and as I pointed out to Aesir's great chagrin
our gates are useless when our enemies can portal past them and we
cannot.

You people are fools. Where else will you go if not Stavenn? Why
couldn't you work with us instead of being cryptic, useless and prone to
betrayal. Your reasons for wanting us to end the war make no sense, you
now have no future source of population and no homes.

Yes, Stavenn is pathetic. We've only repelled and avenged ourselves
against those who were trying to destroy us with superior numbers,
equipment, offensive and defensive powers. I'm sure Stavenn will find a
new Patron to serve, one who will actually tell us what They want and
give us more than five words before They attack/leave the city.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…
