Aesir and Stavenn

I write as an Archimandrite of Thunder, one rank above Dean of War, one
rank below the Storm Lord in the Order of War. It is indeed true Lord
Aesir has given up His patronage of Stavenn and the Diavlous. I, as an
Orderrank 9 of the Order of War, did not even know what Lord Aesir
expected of Stavenn throughout this war. While what Lord Aesir wants of
His Order should matter to me as I am one of His followers, it should
not directly reflect upon Stavenn. Stavenn approached Lord Aesir asking
Him to become Patron not so that He would command the city but rather
for guidance, as Lord Aesir Himself said He would grant aid and never
take a hands-on approach with mortals.

Apparantly this war has not pleased Lord Aesir, though Stavenn did not
even initiate this war we are now expected to end it quietly. This is
not how Stavenn chooses to handle those who would surprise attack us, a
majority of the city sleeping! No, instead we take the war back to
Kinsarmar and gradually approach victory, battle by battle coming up
more and more on top. Now some whine and complain that it is no longer
even a war. Why? Because Stavenn is now more than prepared - we decimate
those that stand before us. Now it isn't a war, I suppose - it's a
slaughter.

Lord Aesir did not give Stavenn Magnin, though He did help speed the
growth rate of the mutant rats residing within the sewer system of
Stavenn. The tunnels were destroyed with the city Patron's aid as any
good city Patron would do to aid a city being attacked. Same with the
sewer closings. This war was fought the way Kinsarmar set it up. Yes,
many youngens were slain because they attacked Stavenn. I don't care how
old, young or stupid someone is - if they attack Stavenn they will die
all the same. There were more 18 year olds doing damage to Stavenn than
there were 35 year old Kinsarmar warriors so cries for the youth fall on
deaf ears here.

As it has become more than apparent that I cannot serve both my city and
my Patron to my fullest abilities I shall have to choose which has been
more loyal to my ideals. Farewell Order of War.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021
