4.3.12 The Xiur

The Xiur, hailing from the Great Mountains of Gongen, are a formidable race resembling giant rock-men. Though not composed of rock, their skin bears the appearance and hardness of granite plates, giving them an imposing presence. Renowned for their immense physical size and strength, the Xiur are a symbol of endurance and resilience.

In ancient times, the Xiur were miners, sharing the mountainous territory with the Ryadai, a rival race. The tension between the two races escalated into a fierce war over control of the mountains and mines. The Rays of Moradeim, shining upon the mountain, caused a profound shift, further separating the two races and intensifying their conflict. The war raged on, culminating in the Xiur's victory and the Ryadai's extinction.

Once harboring deep hostility towards Kinsarmar, whom they believed aided the Ryadai during the wars, the Xiur have since forged a path of reconciliation and peace. Their indomitable spirit, like the rugged terrain they call home, stands unyielding and enduring.
