Public News Post #611

My recent experiences as an Undead.

Written by: Manoan Trenon Tal'Saraan, Fist of Vahin
Date: Friday, January 16th, 2004
Addressed to: Brutal Juganothion, the Crimson Knight

The taste of rot still lingers in my mouth as well as the stench of
decay upon my garments as I scribe this, and my wish is to simply
elucidate to the populace as to the horrors of undeath. After being
slain by Juganothion and any his other Necromantic friends, my soul was
torn from Dis, as my corpse was reanimated where it fell, through pain
indescribable. Pain raced across my soul as I was torn from my
surroundings, in Dis, and returned to my body. I could not but scream in
rage as I realized I no longer lived a natural life, but rather undeath
had imprisoned my soul within my fallen corpse.

The group of Templars regrouped, and even with my natural Taekyon
abilities greatly decreased, we attacked our enemies before they could
scatter back. I could barely bring myself to use my hand to hand
abilities, my flesh rotting even as I stood, and could only rely on my
lessened powers of Kaido and Telepathy. After our enemies were slain,
fled, or graced, my brother, Aronus, finally granted me true-death in a
friendly Arboreal's grove, where I was given life anew, without being
forced to travel Dis once again. This is why there was any delay in
granting me real-life once anew.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Naturalis, in the year 424 AD.
