The Khandava Council and Recent Events

People of Aetherius, Hail!

The protection of Nature is an important duty of the Khandava Council,
along with a close vigil over those who would take advantage of its
bounty.

However, as of late, corruptive and treasonous elements have revealed
themselves within the Council's leadership itself. A new Patron was
forced upon us, the constitution changed, used and abused to fit the
purpose of these people. Amongst them was our ex-prophet himself,
Harker.

The free people of Khandava did not allow themselves to be dictated by
these plotters, bound by a common goal to empower their Goddess, the Red
Maiden. They have been removed from the Council, and a new, uncorrupted
leadership is underway.

Khandava does not deny that this is a hard transition. We are gravely
disappointed in the recent events, as the very people who swore their
loyalty to the Council and to Nature have betrayed their oaths in
exchange for Power. However, we assure the population of Aetherius that
Khandava is not unstable, and normal business will resume after a few
months. Please bear with us as we rebuild what was destroyed, and as
Khandava restores itself to its former glory.

For Nature and Freedom,
Fedith D'Murne
Arboreal Secretary

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Halitus, in the year 422 AD.
