We win! No, we win!

I keep seeing claims that one side has "demoralized" the other. It might
interest everyone to know that being demoralized is a state of being
dependent on the one so labelled. A city which claims victory has not
been demoralized. It's like claiming that you've humiliated someone who
is not embarrassed. It doesn't take.
