True war

Greetings, Sparda and Stavenn

I was just catching up on the news posts when I noticed an interesting
point you made. About the way a true war is fought, without spies or
subterfuge. Of course, this point gave me good reason to laugh. I simply
tried to imagine the "true" way to fight a war. I guess what you mean is
to charge blindly in and attack without any knowledge of the enemy's
plans, strengths, weaknesses, etc. Imagine your forces caught completely
by surprised by an army they had no information on, and imagine the
slaughter that would take place. I expected better from a city that
prides itself on martial experience and tactics.

Actually, I think spies and propaganda may be the most important points
to a war. Sure, killing is an essential element, but espionage makes
said killing so much more effective. Propaganda, whether it be false or
true, ensures that your army grows stronger while your enemy weakens.

Of course, I could follow Darus' post and list all the statistics of
this current war, but that would be downright silly. If you still need
to see proof of our statements, simply refer to his post. Really, the
only difference is that I am not burned or Lycaean in any way. I just
wanted to make a point comparing the efficient kind of war and the
"true" one. I never knew that true was a synonym of ignorant in Stavenn
culture.

Not burnt at the moment but finds it can be quite fun,

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…
