Many thanks for your post which put into words questions I have had for
many years. I first began to ask these questions when I was told by the
leaders of the Hunters that I would be enemied from the Councils because
I sometimes sold healing drink for 100 coins instead of 150 coins.

Although I used to be thinking this struggle was over power, over money
and over control, I am now thinking that I was wrong of this. I have to
say that I have found no logic in the reason for these 'treaties' so it
is not that driving them either. I am sad to say that I conclude that
the reason for these 'treaties' is because the Councils heard that
someone, somewhere at sometime had done it 'this way so we shall do it
this way too'.

I have always adhered to the law of pristine plants and will always do
so, as I see the care of nature in it and the kindness to others
harvesting. But I will never see why selling a healing drink for 100
coins demands that I not be able to enter the forests or jungles again.

Forgive me for my cluttering of your readings, but I have been silent
for years.
