Let me summize too!

Complicated words flying around? Limited language comprehension skills?
Mm, someone bring me a dictionary, I think I'm having problems with
words like 'summize' and anything else over six letters in length. You
don't see me taking such bounds in the Common language, no! Lest you
forget, you snubbed me, Morgie, not the other way around. Or did my
running in circles around your poorly-phrased rebuttals and half-witted
replies spin your brain one more time than it was used to?

I might also need to get someone to help me out in deciphering the
jumbles of nonsense you call a stream of thought. A halfway-literate
individual could accomplish what you are trying to convey in less than a
fourth of what your side-story notions and explanations clutter.

'I bought a family name, a clan and a shop. I bought two shops but that
was sold back to its originally intended owner who just didn't have the
gold at the time to make the purchase. The Shop I bought, I say I but
allow me to make clear I = my family, is now not even my own.'

If anyone can translate this for me, since I am evidently unable to
understand this highly-evolved and intricate version of Common, I'd be
grateful.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Tenebrae, in the year 414 AD.

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
