I know it's difficult to keep up with all these words flying around,
possibly even complicated at times to keep the facts straight. It's ok
though, I'll help you out. I bought a family name and a family clan
yes.. 500k boom gone out the window. That was a painful but a must
needed purchase as my family was once a very strong and influential
family with two branches consisting of warriors and merchants. My direct
lineage is of the merchant line and thusly, the line with the money and
prestige. I don't care a single iota for money or prestige although I
did feel the need to reinstate my fathers legacy by rebuilding the
family. My brothers and I agreed it was most important to get that taken
care of as soon as possible. Family name, Family clan. Done.

I put my efforts together with my brothers and we purchased the
Kinsarmar shop, which has subsequently been taken over, not purchased
from me, but taken over, by my brother Logain. He runs that shop, and
pristinely by your law I might add. I dont supply it, run it, nor even
have a key. That is not asset I can call my own any longer. A gentleman
agreed to sell Aidan a shop in Antioch for 100k which was far below the
normal shop selling price, but he did not have the gold at the time to
make the purchase. The ever-warrior Aidan is, a merchant, Aidan is not.
Being my fiance at the time, I gave him that and the gold to handle
first years taxes, and fill it with stock which I helped him do for a
year or so. I do not any longer have that key either, though our family
name still resides on that shop, Swiftpaw does come first as it is his
first and foremost. He has paid me back the gold for that which we used
in the purchase of our family clan.

This other mystery shop you invented I'm unsure about. I dont believe
I've ever mentioned more than 2 shops as I've never even been affliated
with more than 2, other than the occasional bulk supply. Now that you
can count the names of many shopowners behind, however, I do not own
them and to assume I do because I stock them is a bit on the silly side
dont you think?

So to summize so I dont lose you in all those complicated words... I
have bought one shop at full price, and one at a reduced price, been
paid back for one of those which was in turn spent again on attaining
the aforementioned family name/clan etc. My rolling in the gold days are
long past and the most I made these days is enough to purchase a few
credits here or there which I have done recently.. and emptied my gold
coffers once again so much so to need to turn around and sell a few just
to have the gold to eat. So no, I'm not rich... though at one time I
was. You know what I am now? Content. I'm in love with a man who
worships me. I have an overflowing supply of people who wish me well and
offer to back and support me in times of difficulty-- now specifically--
and have found people I dont even know willing to back me. I'm happy,
content and a bit on the sassy side but far from an exterminator, a fire
starter, or a destructor of forests. I love the forests as that is where
I grew up the first 20 years of my life. Think what you may of me, but I
am no more than a simple merchant who despises power mongers, including
power mongers with limited language comprehension skills.
