Sorin and Mallackai,
I am writing this post with a tad bit of confusion to where you got your
information Sorin. Let me clarify a few things.
1. I don't recall Antioch losing and "War", but I do recall them losing
a few traitors which was not a loss at all, but a blessing.
2. Lord Baar is a Divine, one of the great Gods of this world, and He
deserves respect whether He is the Patron of your enemied City or not.
3. The reason Lord Baar set fire to the guards of Stavenn last month was
not because of anger of a loss of "a war". It had nothing to do with the
battles between Antioch and Stavenn. It was --- Because Lord Baar, a
Divine, a God, was enemied from Stavenn. Which he stated prior to
removing every guard from Stavenn, I do not recall the exact words which
resonated throughout the lands, but it was along the lines of "Every
guard will be killed in Stavenn, they have enemied me, and they have
Jagara to thank for that". I am merely recalling the words, I do hope by
speaking truth, and for all ears opened to His voice that day, can
verify that it was stated similiar to that.
4. As for Mallackai's confrontation with Lord Baar, that was on a
personal basis between he and Lord Baar. Again, those that witnessed it
heard Lord Baar tell him not to do something, apparently, he did it
anyway. Nor am I aware of the second time a ball of flame confronted
Mallackai, I was not there to hear what was said. Nevertheless, the City
burned and citizens were advised to sieze the enemying of a God,
therefore, the flames would stop.
The flames continued for a couple of days, that I personally am aware
of.
I normally would not post publically, but the truth was left out of
yours and assumptions were made that were not even close to the truth.
The fact remains, there was disrespect shown toward a God, He decided to
teach a lesson from what I can ascertain, I will not pretend to know the
ways of the Gods, nor question His actions all I can relay is what
happened.
There has been no "whining or sniveling" to Lord Baar over the wars, the
actions of Stavenn brought forth the wrath of Lord Baar, not those of
Antioch. Do not lay blame where blame can ricochet to where it
rightfully belongs, within Stavenn.
