The hypocritical Sand-rats

I must admit, I find myself greatly amused by this point and felt the
notion to share it with all of Aetherius!

Lucian and Song Asstear, two of the 'strongest' proponents of
anti-magick prejudice and oppression in our world both find sanctuary
and aggression in the bounty of the arts they strive so hard to destroy!
Even their half-blood offspring take in the raw power of magick and
enjoy it as any Kinsarmarian may. I speak of the 'mystical' runes
inscribed on these holy talismans of these anti-taint preachers. These
talismans bear the runes sowulu, mannaz and kena, which any squire or
adept of runelore may tell you are derivatives of magickal terms used to
bend the latent magicks that exist within the earth. These champions of
truth and justice are charlatans, hypocrites and ultimately liars.
Whilst the whole of Antioch seeks to purge magick from the lands, the
Ashtear blood allows itself to be tainted within the embrace of their
magickal-holy temple.

I truly could not catch my breath after witnessing such comedy. To think
the Ashtears believed they could take Shah, all the while wielding
magick as any mage would. Ha! I do so love a good laugh. Many thanks to
the Ashtear and to the tainted children of Illuminas.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Solis, in the year 472 AD.
