The Order of War

Greetings Aetherius,

It is not often that I post here but with the attention that I
seem to be getting recently I figured I would make a few
statements as to why Antioch accepts Lord Aesir.

The most important reason to Antioch is that the Order as a whole
does not use magick. There is nothing magickal that guards a
person standing in the Temple. Being protected by magick is just
as bad as using it yourself.

Now you might say that there are people within the Order that use
magick and this is true, there are a few. The point of the Order
of War is conflict which is the bane of stagnation. To say that
you have to be anti-magick to spread conflict is to sentence
yourself to that stagnation. Even the Mother of Love and Peace
does not stand in the way of conflict, as She knows the
importance of such.

War is not affiliated with any city or guild. War does not
champion magick, demons or anti-magick, we are all equal in our
potential for conflict in His eyes. The Lord of War values all
as each can be placed against each other to bring the best out
of people and the worst out of a few, who can then be culled for
what they have shown themselves to be.

The servants of War are encouraged to keep our loyalties with
our City or Guild. Thus I will kill a magicker that is a part of
the Order just as quickly as I would one who is not a member of
the Order. A War has two sides so there are representatives from
both sides. To claim one side has conflict while the other does
not, yet they are doing the same things, is silly.

For those that wish to know why I personally serve the Lord of
War. Feel free to ask. If anyone has more in-depth questions
about the Lord of War, I am almost always willing to answer.

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
