Aggression

Greetings, Shah.

I feel compelled to return your post to my Duchess and perhaps correct
the facts that seem to be escaping your thoughts, despite constant
explanation on our part.

The followers of Lady Eloweth have not gone out of their way to attack
Antioch. Rather, Antioch received an anonymous letter and, rather than
trying to find the culprit of such a letter, decided to defile every one
of the Lady's public shrines and slay Her followers. In return, we
beseeched a token of our anger and placed it on a shrine in your city.

In addition, your citizens have committed numerous crimes against
Kinsarmar since receiving this letter, including but not limited to
slaying innocents whom you feel could be possible Eloweians (and
weren't, mind you), defiling the shrines of Lord Janus when you ran out
of those of the Lady, and allowing your citizens to commit assault
against priests and then complain when they receive the proper
punishment.

You tried to avoid nothing, Shah. Prepare for the war, but do not
pretend even a moment that your hands are not coated in blood. The rest
of the world can see them.

Sincerely,
Wysrias Reopev

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Halitus, in the year 471 AD.
