Love

IF ONLY YOU KNEW
Moments that go by without you
Are unpleasant pains that ache inside
My world of colors simply fades to blue
I wish you were always by my side.
Moments that pass when I�m with you
Flutter quickly beyond my grasp
Hours turn to days--If you only knew
How years with you could go by fast.
At times when I�m alone I catch your scent
And my heart stops abruptly at the very thought--
Alas, this is only a brief excitement
For I look for you, but there you are not.
My heart beats for yours; may time be kind
To a love so deep shared between two
I can see we are one even if true love is blind
I will share this love forever with you.
