The Claim for the Worldweaver

The Worldweaver had been considered destroyed, used by the Warden Harker
to seal the demon rift of the north. However this did not satisfy the
Queen Raerka of the Alovyan Amazons.

Demanding the return of the Worldweaver to the place it had spent many
ages, the Queen sent Harker an ultimatum. Return the Worldweaver, or her
warriors would take it by force.

Harker replied, stating it was destroyed and left it at that, however
the Queen did not believe him. Her warriors were dispatched to the
Ithaqua forest to secure the Worldweaver or slay anyone who would dare
to try to hide it.

For several months, the Amazons laid seige to Ithaqua, attacking Wardens
on sight for claiming the Worldweaver had been destroyed. Believing all
males to be undeserving, Queen Raerka believed this as just another
male-conceived lie to attempt to deceive her into giving up the search.

Many Amazons died to the Wardens of the North, and many people stood to
each side of the line. Did the Wardens lie about the Worldweaver, and if
so, why? Did Queen Raerka believe the Worldweaver to still exist, and
would she stop at nothing to retrieve it?

Time passed, and the Queen's insistence on the return of what much of
Aetherius was claiming destroyed, began to worry several. Among one
worried, was an Amazon by the name of Kerial. Kerial returned from the
Ithaqua, to ask the Queen to listen to the people and the possibility
that the Worldweaver had indeed been destroyed.

Fearing that Kerial was treasonous, the Queen ordered her execution, to
the shock and dismay of many in attendance. Phoen Div'ne stood up for
Kerial. After some arguing and warnings, Phoen slew the two Amazon
Guards that were in the process of attempting to execute Kerial. While
Mookie Iolar distracted the Queen Raerka, Phoen escaped the Alovyan with
Kerial.

What has caused the Queen Raerka to become so irrational? This scribe
can only speculate.
