Classleads

Remember, in a little under 24 hours, the ability to submit new
classlead reports is going to be disabled.

Classlead now have the ability to set the priority of an approved
classlead report. You can do this with:

CLASSLEAD <report #> PRIORITY <priority>

The priority is a number between 1 and 100. A priority of 100 means that
you really want the problem described in that report fixed. A priority
of one means that the world will keep spinning if that problem is not
fixed. Please keep in mind that even if a report has been approved and
has a priority of 100 there is no guarantee that the report will be
implemented. Approval of a report simply indicates that we feel that the
problem described in that report is valid.

We'll do our best to accomodate the intentions and desires of the
classleads, but we're going to temper that with our specific vision for
Imperian as well as our overarching view of game balance.

You can only set the priority for skills that are part of your guild's
profession. For example, the Lorekeeper classlead can only set the
priority for reports in Runelore, Chivalry, and Smithing. He/she cannot
set the priority for reports in Thespia, Devotion, or other skills.

If two or more people set priority on the same report, the effective
priority will be the average. The effective priority will be displayed
in a report's details.

Classleads can now also see the comments that they have made on a
report. You can only see your own comments.

For the next week, until we begin implementing the classlead reports on
a skill-by-skill basis, classleads will be able to set the priority of
and comment on approved reports. Please refrain from making comments
like: "This needs to be done", "Sounds good", or "This report is lame".
If you have something genuinely insightful to say about a report, please
share it with us. The commenting ability is not really a place for you
to place your personal opinion about a specific report.

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Letum, in the year 520 AD.

However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
