Imperian is looking to take on and train some new mortal builders.

For those wondering I'll be the new administrator overseeing the Mortal Building program, and with new management comes some changes. A standardized incentive program has been placed so that volunteers understand just what's coming their way from the start, as well as tiered ranks to encourage a steady stream of building. Additionally, the actual inner-workings as to how assignments are tracked has been simplified to help streamline the process.

As for what the program is, mortal builders are involved in the area creation process, from the idea phase, to the design phase, to the implementation phase. They create the rooms, the mobs, the items, and design the quests for the new area.

If you think you'd enjoy contributing to the growth of areas and enjoyment of your fellow players by participating in the builders program, please send the following application information to builders@imperian.com.

1) The name(s) of your character(s)

2) Your real-life age. Due to legal concerns, we are not able to accept any mortal builders under the age of 18.

3) Describe three potential rooms, please vary your content.

4) Describe a mob. Include all of fields of mob descriptions explained in HELP CUSTOMISATION.

5) Design and describe a quest. Be thorough. Explain the whole process, from discovering your quest, progressing through the quest, and solving the quest.

6) Indicate that you agree with all of the terms found in our volunteer agreement at http://www.imperian.com/volunteer_agreement.pdf. You will need to sign this agreement before you will be able to act as a mortal builder, but you do not need to provide it before applying. Just be aware of it.

Use this opportunity to really amaze us with your ideas and descriptions. Obviously, proper grammar and spelling is extremely important, so make sure to proofread and have someone else proofread your descriptions before submitting them.
