Ironbeard is now visiting random people in Imperian and delivering festive holiday giftbags to them. The chance that Ironbeard will visit you is random, and the gift(s) in your giftbag are also randomly generated. However, you can only receive one gift from Ironbeard per 24 hour period.

Once you are given a giftbag, that giftbag will reset to your inventory, and only you have the ability to remove things from that giftbag. You cannot be forced to take anything from your giftbag. Apparently we've had problems with people stealing other people's giftbags. Grinches, I say!

Giftbags have a rare chance to contain valuable artifacts, but are more likely to contain gold; pocketbelts of herbs; vials with elixirs, salves, or toxins; and pocketbelts with varying amounts of smithing commodities (including two or three crystehl!).

Once you've removed an item from your giftbag, the giftbag will no longer reset to your inventory and will decay in a few days.
