Hello everyone,

Being within the 'a Portal Room' area (otherwise known as the newbie portals) now heals everyone of any affliction or health/mana damage that ails them. We're trialing this as a means to hopefully help with newbie retention. If any newbie gets stuck with an affliction like blindness, or paralysis or something that would utterly befuddle them, advise them to simply PORTALS and they'll be patched right up.

Similarly, for those of you with a bit more experience in the game making new characters, if you go into the portal room with the mindseye defense up, blindness and deafness will not be cured from you, under the presumption that you wish to keep the afflictions on you.
