Here's a schedule of the promotions and games we have planned in Imperian for the next week, so don't forget to mark these on your calendars!
On Tuesday, May 18th, at 0:01 GMT, Double XP Tuesday begins. This actually starts on Monday evening for most of you in the US. For a full 24 hours, you will earn double experience for all mobs you kill and quests you complete!
On Thursday, May 20th, at 0:01 GMT, Divine Favour Thursday begins. This starts on Wednesday evening for most of you in the US. For a full 24 hours, your stats and skills will be altered as if you have a divine truefavour for the whole day!
This weekend, starting at 0:01 GMT on Saturday, May 22nd (Friday evening in the US), all of the IRE games will be holding a Double XP Weekend. You will gain double experience for all creatures killed and quests completed for 48 hours, ending at 23:59 GMT on Sunday, the 23rd (Sunday evening in the US).
Finally, at 02:00 GMT on Monday, May 23rd (later Sunday evening in the US), Imperian will be holding a City-vs-City Capture the Flag game, with the powerful CTF prizes up for grabs. The CTF will last for 2 hours. Please read HELP CTF for more information.
The city with the highest number of points gets first choice from the following four prizes, while second and third get the subsequence choices. The other three cities get nothing. You'll notice that this is slightly different from previous CTFs in that only the top three cities get prizes, rather than the top four.
These prizes will be available:
Restoration Fountain
----------------------
- Currently held by Celidon and named "the Phoenix's Rebirth".
- Cures all afflictions, and can be drunk from as often as one
wants.
Healing Fountain
------------------
- Currently held by Stavenn and named "the Fountain of Sukhder".
- Heals all health, mana, willpower, and endurance, but can only
be used once per day.
Lunar Pylon
-------------
- Currently held by Antioch.
- Grants one of three beneficial lunar auras when walked through.
- Auras will last until midnight each night, when a new one can
be gained.
Foreman Rozri
---------------
- Currently held by Ithaqua.
- Increases the generation of rare comms in refinery.
Also, for this CTF, Rozri will be changed so that he slightly speeds up the producing and refining all of commodities in the towne and city shops.
Each city/council leader should send me a message prior to the end of the CTF with a list, in desired order, of the prizes they would want should their city/council place.
