As you've probably already read in the newsletters, every Thursday in
February is going to be a double XP day in all of the IRE games. You are
reading the newsletters, right?

That's right, from 00:01 GMT on Thursday until 23:59, a double experience
bonus will be applied to all experience gained from bashing and questing.

Please note, however, that during these double XP days, experience
bonuses received from achievements and tasks will not be active. So, you
will not be able to accumulate very large experience bonuses during the
double XP days. You will only be able to double it.

The other, smaller xp bonuses will still be in effect, however. For
example: the owl tattoo, guild xp bonuses, warmasks, and statpack
experience modifiers will still work and increase the amount of
experience you gain. The only change is that achievement xp bonuses will
be replaced by the double xp bonus for the 24 hours.
