We've made some changes to the artifact system in Imperian that allow
for two useful new features: upgrades and gifts.

Artifact upgrades will now let you upgrade an artifact to a higher level
while only paying the difference between the two costs, rather than
taking a 2/3rds hit on trading in the lower level artifact. More
information on upgrading artifacts is found in HELP ARTIFACT UPGRADES.

Artifact gifts will allow you to purchase artifacts as gifts for other
players. Celebrate the holiday season by purchasing your friend a pair
of Seraphim Angel wings. Or even better, a Veil of the Obtenebrate. More

The new code for the upgrade system required setting some specific
information for each individual upgrade path. We might have missed
something, so if it's not working right, let me know directly through a
message and I'll get it fixed as soon as possible.

Needless to say, if you find some way to abuse the system such that you
receive more credits or artifacts than you should, I'll have absolutely
no problem with shrubbing you permanently.

Also, the pricing on the artifact bows has been changed to represent one
single price, regardless of any skills or abilities you might have (the
profession system made the two-tier pricing system pretty much
obsolete).
