12.14.25 The K'Teire Wreck

During the month of Tenebrae, in the year 914 AH, a man named Derfan had an
idea to escape the falling pieces of moon. He and a few neighbors repaired
a ship that had been left in the cove west of the Shaahri desert, planning
to sail into the ocean to attempt escaping the devastation.

However, as they set sail, a large chunk of the moon fell from the sky and
crashed into their vessel, causing it to sink to the depths of the ocean
waters. The magickal energy from the moon shard affected the captain and
crew as they died, causing them to live on after death, doomed to stay upon
the sandy floor for centuries.
