Yes, I guess you do have the right to favour attacking a soft target
like Anhir, who only wishes to live peacefully in the desert.

And we? Who's this we? The Anti-antimagicker Brigade? The Dollers of
Doom? It must be so much fun to have everyone jump on the bandwagon of
mediocrity, but I wonder how many of them have ever actually talked to
an Anhiran, instead of disemboweling them off the bat.
