The ..Templars.

Greetings,

Well, It seems that once again a group of people are setting out to wipe
out.. Demon Summoners and Undead once more. I had not thought that such
a blatant excuse to kill defenseless novices would ever be created, for
the Templars will surely kill them as well?

That will likely be all the Templars kill. Oh, undoubtedly they will try
and kill other Undead/Demon Summoners and they may actually succeed
against some of them. But do they realise that they should also be
trying to eradicate supporters of the above groups? I do not see how 9
people can think to eradicate 3 Guilds. Perhaps your number have grown
since I last thought to see how many fools there were in Aetheryus.

Noble hearts do nothing, they will undoubtedly get eaten. I think I can
understand your desicion to..purge the world of evil..but do you not
realise that evil is not inherent? Evil is as Evil does. Can you truly
say that killing a Novice who has barely the faintest grasp of what they
do, is not evil?

Perhaps you fail to notice that some people study the Demons, rather
then use their power. Does that count as evil?

Or is evil simply those who are willing to grasp power? Then undoubtedly
evil has spread far beyond the ranks of the Malign, The Diavlous and The
Noctusari, but I suppose the Templars wouldn't think that far through
what is evil, prefering only what is directly ahead of them?

Perchance some of those who join the Templars see a way to destroy evil?
I will tell you this, all the Templars will do is kill Novices, maybe a
few probates and occaisionally a person that is higher up in the guild.
Will this accomplish anything? No. Those in the guild will stay in the
guild. The novices will be told to keep to areas where they can't be
attacked. Those few foolish attackers will be dealt with.

The Templars remind me of a people from long ago, the people that first
banned Magick within the city that was Stavenn. Their witchhunts and
purges failed to do anything, and still the legacy of the Gazali's lives
on. Will your actions take a similar place in history? Forgotten but for
those few who truly care?

What does this mean? It is quite simple, if you have not already picked
it up. You may try and kill us, but we will always survive. You may
attempt to eradicate evil, but you will be doomed to failure. As the
witch hunts of history failed.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021
