Dryad's Burial-place

Greetings,

As I know that if I do not speak, many will misinterpret my silence, I
post this as soon as I am able.

Today while peacefully harvesting in the Eastern Celidon Forest, inside
the Dryad's Burial-place, I met with Ellarynth. She informed me that no
harvesting was allowed inside that area and that the Arboreals were
enforcing this. I questioned her about this and the reason for it, and
she stated that she "knew" somehow that this was the wishes of the
Dryads. I strongly opposed her on both reason and method. It is my
belief that we are all, plants, animals, adventurers, and dryads,
Walkers on the great Wheel. That old growth MUST give way to new growth,
just as new growth ages and gives way to old. It is my firm belief that
there is no better place to express this then in a cemetary, where dead
bodies are buried to enrich the soil for new life.

After speaking with Ellarynth I was quite distressed and so returned to
my harvesting in hopes that the repetition of motion would calm my mind.
You can only imagine my horror when I finally breathed deeply and opened
my eyes, to discover that I had overharvested myrrh! After a moment of
worry, I spoke to a ranking member of Celidon Council, who's
jurisdiction the Eastern Celidon Forest is. The first-offence fine is
10,000 gold pieces, and I shall pay it within one-quarter day after I
sign this post. I shall further speak with a Guild official within the
Hunters, to find what my Pristine Law fine is, and pay that as well. It
should be noted that while Khandava no longer supports this law, Hunter
guild-members are still subject to it.

I thank you all for your time and should anyone have any questions for
me please do not hesitate to contact me. If your question is about herbs
or refills, I'm afraid I'm setting down my pot and gloves until such
time as all my fines have been paid and any probation within my guild
has been lifted.

Sincerely,
Ikitae Da'saison

However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
