Bards, cruel lament and treaty.

I would have addressed this to Drakenta, but I'm not writing down the
entirety of his aweful title.

Cruel lament is probably the very first loophole in a treaty, including
the one drafted by Kinsarmar earlier, that those who don't wish to see
the war end would use. If you can come up with an agreeably fair way of
determining if the one killed by it was inside of Stavenn or not when it
began, then by all means we can work that in. But I don't think you can.

I never said the bards have to accept the treaty... I said that
Kinsarmar has to punish those who break it.

Since supposedly Kinsarmar's guilds are independent of Kinsarmar, surely
Kinsarmar can do this. But then again, every one of Kinsarmar's guilds
are supposedly neutral too.

As for killing your non-Kinsarmar members... people like Fayndran
shouldn't attack if they don't want to be involved. Perhaps if your
non-Kinsarmar guild members really were neutral (read, not attacking
Stavennites along with kinsarmarans) then this wouldn't be an issue. We
kill novices if we see them blowing up monolith sigils and the like. And
lastly, third parties have contacted me about the novice death rate, and
guess what? Your side is way, way ahead of ours in the number killed.

Obviously, we couldn't care less if the treaty is accepted or not. We
win either way.
