I got a call for help on CT. Someone had been jumped by Stavenn's
"imperator", and couldn't move. A hit and run, which was obvious because
if he stuck around too long he would actually have to fight someone.

I took a portal to help, armed with only my mandolin, thinking I would
sing up a song, help tell him what he needed to heal, and we'd both
leave. All of a sudden, poof, there was Iriaen again! Not suprised, a
little disgusted, and impatient of his cowardice, I followed Zacc and
Iriaen south and watched as Zacc got out of a couple of Evileye attacks,
not sure if putting Iriaen to sleep would be violating guild law, as I
wasn't actually attacked. I figured novices were out of the war, so if I
didn't attack, there'd be no reason to mess with me and I could help
Zacc and Ynnys after Iriaen left again.

I saw Iriaen pull back with his axe, figuring he'd be breaking Zacc's
legs like he did Ynnys', and so I started to ask on CT for a portal
out...and then he hit me. I was unaware I was such a threat to the
mighty leader of Stavenn that he had to slaughter me without warning,
without any provocation.

He then revived me in the Spring and apologized, claiming ignorance. He
didn't know it would kill me with one hit. For the record, you should
have hit me at all. That cool title I have, the one that says
Understudy, it means Novice. Stavenn should be hard-pressed to find a
leader as glowing with intelligence as you, Iriaen.
