As one of the repeatedly slaughtered noncombatant citizens of The Duchy I feel I should reply to you, at least in respect of the some of the insults you feel have been sent your way.

As in our previous conversations, I apologise unreservedly for hurting your sensitivities, had I been aware that you were so very in touch with your femininity, and were so traumatised by the last words of a dying elf, I would have ensured more flowery language, and maybe would have spoken to you of soft furnishings and butterflies, as befits Imperator of Stavenn. I will ensure that if we ever meet again I will maintain the conversation to polite talk about the weather and flower arranging.

I also ask for forgiveness for commenting on the lack of house training of your mongrel, at least I supposed that was what it was, as usually the only thing that wears a dog collar is a dog. Unless it is working towards being a dog, and in that case I would commend its heady ambition.

As to tears of woe, I have shed none, and each time you or one of your little monkeys has slain me, it has hurt a little less, to the point that I hardly notice it. The speed and lack of willingness to converse during your slaughter of me has made me hypothesise however, that maybe the reason for the angry bloodlust in Stavenn women is the more down to the same quick, unsatisfactory completion being apparent in other areas of Stavenn manhood, rather than an actual liking for blood.
