Actually, all of Antioch

Written by: Cyrius yn'Chionnal

This is a formal apology to you, Antioch on behalf of myself.

I now know the pain of being betrayed by a friend and by a city. I have
been cast out of Stavenn for pursuing my own agenda against one who very
much deserved it, and killed in turn by its Imperator. Though this is
nowhere near the scale on which I betrayed you, it has made me pause a
moment to re-think some things. Since I betrayed you those few years
ago, my life has gone into a tailspin of violence, theft, and
self-torture as I chased the taint of Magick to empower myself. All I
got from this time was suffering, pain, and a sense of emptiness as I
continued to lose my sense of self and purpose in life, I am a Cleric of
the Divine, first and foremost, and this last instance has made me
realize that it is time I start to act like one again. Believe me or
not, that is your choice to make, but I am done with acts of treachery,
thieving, war-like aggression, and generally being a pain in Aetherius'
collective rear. My debt to you is owed, and it shall be paid in full in
time. I am sorry, Antioch, I truelly am...beware the taint that power
bestows upon mortals, for it has power to corrupt one's soul and twist
it to uses other than it was originally meant for.

Sincerely,

Cyrius yn'Chionnal

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Solis, in the year 415 AD.
