Once, not so long ago, two men fought.
Their battle was epic, the stuff of legend. Their assembled armies
dwarfed all previous examples, and each soldier was trained by his
father, and his father by his father's father. So it goes.
A whole fortnight passed and their battle still raged. At the end, only
the two men remained, too exhausted to bear arms against each other.
However, they still fought with words, arguing back and forth.
Their children had died, their wives had perished, and their nations
were destroyed, yet their argument continued.

This was a story of two fleas, bickering over who owned the dog.
So it goes.
