In reply to your post

Lady Silken,

I hold no contempt at your words, nor do I seek to slander your beliefs,
but I would like to propose that not all you say of Death is valid. I am
not posting here to prove you wrong or debate you on public boards. If
that is wished, time can be made to debate these things properly. My
purpose for posting is simple, to undo the farce that was made of the
Order of Death.

I will, however, agree with you on a few of your points. I can vouch
that I live as I am. I feel life within a breeze, in the scent of the
flora, the taste of rain, and most assuredly in the touch of the one who
loves me. And you are correct. These cherished things do not begin to
broach the Truth that is Life.

We do not seek to fool or deceive anyone into anything, belief is a
personal
choice, as it always has been. Nor does anyone within Lord Thanatos
congregation live in despair as you have said. All things are touched by
Death, there will always be loss to some extent. Only those who dwell
within the feelings and emotions of despair, grief, or loss, view death
as
you describe.

Death is angst filled. I don't disagree with you there, either. But,
what
lesson is learned without effort, sacrifice, or strain? If one does not
stretch to obtain something, have they truly learned or grown in
understanding? Death can be despair for those who choose to see nothing
else but the pain that comes in life and death.

Those who understand Death are able to lift the veil of such
perspectives
and embrace what Death is, not just how it appears. Before judging the
face
of Death they seek the heart, and then they understand why we live as we
do.

As for who populates the congregation of our Lord, never has one been
turned down from this congregation for reasons of bias or affiliation.

Who can say the same?

Pax Tadrianus

However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
