I am afraid you are quite misinformed along with the rest of your
council.

The shrine that has sparked this "conflict" is not a new shrine. It was
in Logain's grove, one which he placed himself quite a long time ago. It
isn't our fault that you do not remember its placement before or that
you haven't come across before recently.

The claim that Mathiu placed it is false. According to the logs since
the day of your public post concerning the removal of Father's shrines
from Ithaqua, no shrine has been placed by Mathiu. Neither has one been
placed in Ithaqua for a very long time. The last was Logain's and he's
been gone for many, many years.
