Magick

In this world, magick is no more rare or special than any other skill.
Any drooling idiot can join the mages and use magick it appears. Your
parlour tricks are not evidence that you share any stronger affinity to
the maker than any other being.

I can do many things that to the uninformed would appear to magick,
wonders wholly performed by concentration, diligence and skill. I don't
rely on something else to do it for me. Your attempt at quantifying your
self worth through the vast array of useless facts that you know is
quite laughable.

As for the 'tainted' part of my assertion, you were obviously not around
when the moon fragments, highly magickal shards, fell to earth and
corrupted anything or anyone they touched. The land and animals warped
beneath their power, and the minds of people were corrupted by their
influence. If that does not demonstrate the tainted power that magick
inherently is then nothing does.

For all your posturing you know little of what truly matters.
