Love

How do you fight for your love when your a pacifist?
How do you gain the respect needed to be able to show your love?
With this poem I hope I can gain the gist,
Of what to do to gain my hearts love.

My love for another seems to be misplaced,
But yet my heart yearns for her embrace.
I cannot fight this feeling in me,
But why is this love seeming to never be.
I long for a lover,
And I want no other.
But how can i gain her love?

Material gifts can be tokens of love,
But yet from the heart comes the words of true passion.
Love can be shown with a message carried by a white dove,
But how come my words seem to be crashing.
This feeling of love is without reason,
But its never-ending like the season.
Please tell me how to gain her love.

Maybe this poem can show,
How far my love can go.
I may not be able to fight this love with action,
But it may stir a reaction.
From one heart to another,
May this poem be like no other.
Let my hearts one love show,
And let me know.
That i want her love.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Artificium, in the year 630 AD.
