A Cautionary Tale

Baby, baby, naughty babgy
Hush! you squalling babe, I say:
Peace this instant! Peace! or maybe
The Wendigo will pass this way.

Baby, baby, he's a giant.
Tall and white and very fearful
He feeds and drinks and lives reliant
Every day on the naughty people.

Baby, baby, if he hears you.
As he wanders through the wood
Limb from limb, he'll rend you
And free you from your childhood.

He'll chew on you, chew on you,
Till you're nothing but a pulp,
And then he'll eat you, eat you, eat you,
Gobble you, gobble you, SNAP! Snap! snap!

-----

A tale told to the children of Ithaqua. I found it informative and amusing and felt I should share it with you to provide some variety to this listing.

- Sarc.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Vita, in the year 628 AD.
