Slapped by your meaningless words,
Taking no comfort in your reassurance,
Unable to believe the words you say.

Desperately searching for an answer,
Not knowing how to deal with you,
Wanting so much to see you sincere.

Tears welling as I think of you,
Feeling a sense of hopelessness,
As I fight within myself.

Stumbling with you every word,
Longing for your warming touch,
Pulling away as to not be hurt.

Melting as you say you miss me,
Falling when you enjoy my company,
Not wanting to trust my judgement.

Having fun with you easy,
The good outweighing the bad,
Tearing myself up inside.

Trying to show you I care,
Hinting at my feelings for you,
But never do I penetrate the thoughts of your mind.
