Have you ever looked into the eyes of someone new
And you knew in your heart that they were a part of you
You don't even have to know the persons name or even much about them
But the strangest feeling passes over your entire frame
It ignites a flame of love the kindles deep within your soul
And you know without this person you cannot truly be whole
Then you begin to feel an unrelenting pull
Something from that person seems to tug upon your soul
Your blood rushes through your body like waves upon the shore
Your heart begins to beat and like a bell it tolls
You suddenly feel dizzy but it soon will pass
Because it dawns upon you that you've found true love at last
There are many people who believe that very long ago
Everybody was the other half of what we call a soul
And that when we were born that soul was torn in two
And for all your life you'll long for that other half of you
Some of us have found this missing piece of our soul
Some of us still search for the thing that makes us whole
But you should never rush it
Always take your time
Because when you find your soulmate it will open up your eyes
And don't you ever worry that love will never come to you
Because your soulmate is always out there
And on the search for you
