For the longest time,
I walked alone.
I walked in confusion,
But always with hope.
I knew that there was someone,
Meant for just me.
Someone who would love,
And care about me.
I knew that no matter how much,
I wanted to stop walking...
I had to keep going,
I had to find that someone.
I kept on and surely thought,
I would never find him.
There came a time when I stopped walking,
And did not intend to continue.
I had almost given up,
And then I saw him.

He saw me in my despair,
And came over to lend a shoulder.
I stayed by his side,

He has made me laugh,
And he has made me cry.
Even through the bad times,
He can always make me smile.
He is always so kind to me,
Even when I may not be in return.
He gives to me a love so great,
I fear I may not always make him feel the same.
I would do anything for him,
Give my life without a second thought.
My dream finally came true,
My soulmate, is now my husband and my best friend.
