Assailed by my thoughts
All I fight and have fought
Come rushing to my mind

Unbidden are they
Can't keep them at bay
And oft all that I find

I struggle through it all
Hoping that I won't fall
But I am not alone

Something I can run to
Someone to help me through
An experience never known

My support when in need
Healing wounds that do not bleed
Easing pain held inside

Seeing into my heart
Knowing every part
Uncovering all that I hide

I am compeled to share
That which i fear will scare
And trust him not to run away

In silence listening to me
I am so amazed to see
my love is here to stay

The struggle is not so tough
The road has become less rough
The calm in my stormy sea

Clinging to this with all my might
Holding him within my heart so tight
He is everything to me
