One day I found a soul,
someone so alike to me,
from then I dreamt of happiness,
of dreams that could be.

I dream of moon-lit walks,
and sun-blessed trips,
I hope of caring talks,
and playful hints.

On star-lit nights,
I gaze above,
see doves in flight,
and think of love.

I often sit and wait,
adrift in thoughts,
in a darkened break,
where I'm never lost.

I sit upon the leaf-glazed floor,
my heart is hers forevermore,
the world may heave and mountains move,
my hopes and dreams may fail and lose,
but my heart will stay,
it will remain hers,
forever and a day,
no matter of the path she takes,
it will not take my love away.

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Ultio, in the year 407 AD.
