Mine

Lips unhinged and untethered, strung across the vast ocean sky
Rejoined and flowing in the bountiful vaporous sky found only here.
Our cave swelling with unmentionable darkness,
Concealing only our tongues that flicker of a feverous flame:
An unextinguishable flame that bonds us and sears impurities.
My longing ricochets and rebounds off your full red lips---
Full like the setting Antiochan suns,
Red of the crippled gecko whose once leathery skin
Has inhaled these setting suns.
Mine eyes catch you as we freefall,
From the clutches of the Gods, you obviously divine.
My love sputters like jumbled code as disengagement proceeds
'Til colored crystals meet and smile
And I am at peace

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Bellum, in the year 407 AD.
